Question 1

What is beluga hybrid caviar?

Accepted Answer

It’s an ecologically sustainable sturgeon hybrid of the beluga (huso huso). Also known as Russian beluga caviar, these farmed medium-large eggs have a golden color and offer a distinctly nutty flavor and buttery overtones you’ll enjoy on blinis or served with a shot of fine vodka.

Question 2

What are the flavor notes of your fresh imported caviar?

Accepted Answer

Our Russian caviar for sale is unparalleled when it comes to gourmet luxury. You can expect a nutty flavor with buttery overtones with our beluga hybrid, a sweet and richly nutty flavor from Osetra, and fresh and flavorful notes reminiscent of the sea from Siberian sturgeon caviar.

Question 3

What makes Russian beluga caviar so special?

Accepted Answer

This caviar is highly sought-after due to its large size, delicate flavor, creamy texture, and buttery notes that linger on the taste buds. It’s also extremely rare since beluga sturgeon is considered an endangered species. The hybridization process enables sustainability and ethical sourcing while maintaining the luxurious flavors of the caviar.

Question 4

How do I eat wild or imported caviar?

Accepted Answer

Though traditionalists would argue premium caviar should only be eaten solo or with the finest chilled vodka, you could also eat caviar on blinis, with a dollop of crème fraîche, with lemon wedges, or in one of our caviar recipes!
