Description
Golden Osetra, caviar is one of the most prized and expensive types of caviar (eclipsed in price only by Wild Beluga caviar). It is obtained from Osetra sturgeon which weighs 50-400 pounds and can live up to 50 years.
Osetra caviar varies in color from deep brown to gold. Lighter varieties are more sought after, as they have the richest flavor and come from the oldest of sturgeon. Perhaps the most well known of The Original Great Sturgeons, This Golden Colored Gueldenstaedtii is considered rare. Our Golden Osetra, Ecologically Farm raised in Europe and Freshly Harvested twice a year. Characteristics are a larger bead egg and golden in color. It has a great fresh and very rich flavor with the traditional Osetra nutty taste.
