Question 1

What is the best way to eat caviar?

Accepted Answer

Whether you’re in Russia, Europe, or America, you’ll see caviar served in glass bowls with mother-of-pearl spoons to ensure a flavor untainted by other materials. Generally, you eat caviar in small bites alone, washing it down with vodka or white wine. However, serving caviar on blini pancakes or toast points is a popular option as well. Try every one of these ways for the full experience!

Question 2

How do you guarantee fresher caviar than other stores?

Accepted Answer

We boast about our fresh-packed caviar because we package everything to order. Instead of unpacking our large shipments for storage in smaller containers, we don’t expose our caviar to the air until the final second. Everything is packed fresh and shipped only once you place an order. If you’re local, you can also pick up your caviar in person at our pick-up location.

Question 3

How long will my caviar last? How do I store it?

Accepted Answer

We recommend consuming your imported or American caviar within two to three weeks if left unopened with proper and constant refrigeration. Opened caviar should be consumed within two to three days with constant refrigeration for optimal freshness and taste. Store caviar in the coolest part of your refrigerator (typically the bottom shelf in the back) to preserve quality.

Question 4

What’s the best way for beginners to eat caviar?

Accepted Answer

Caviar is delicate and should be eaten in very small quantities. First, serve your caviar in a glass bowl, as metal spoons and serveware will contaminate the subtle flavor. You should not chew caviar. Let it fall apart in your mouth and swallow without biting down, using your tongue instead of your teeth. If you’re looking for a spin on different ways to present or eat it, you can explore caviar appetizers and recipes.
